Just think Izzy is amazing!!

I am just amazed at how much I am in love with my little Izzy I know I'm not alone in this I'm sure... I guess I never thought that a lizard would be like a companion ya know?! She loves to hang out on my chest/shoulder checking things out... I am just fascinated with her and I am loving learning what she likes and figuring out her personality.

Took her and our dog Jax to Petco today to get her some more roaches (as my colony is still getting up and going), get some flightless fruit flies for our bird and Izzy just chilled on my chest half in half out of the fleece "sash" I made for her to cling on or nap in...She loved the sunbeams and was watching as semi's would go by Just too cool.

So what does everyone else do with their Dragons?? I make sure she gets her alone time to be a dragon but also want her to be part of the pack, we involve all of our pack members in everyday life, gives them all enrichment..

I am hooked on Dragons lol Very glad I followed my gut and decided on getting her!

When we are home we try to let them out as much as we can. Dexter usually sits on the couch or on my chair next to me and we let Luci run around on the floor until he gets tired. If it's nice outside we will put them in an window so they can get some fresh air and sometimes I'll put them on their leashes and take them outside. We live in an apartment so we don't really have a yard for them to run around. Dexter is the only one that gets to go to the pet store. She's very calm and will sit still Luci freaks out and wants to go all over the place. Last year I took them both to Petco for the Halloween costume contest but Luci not only got out of his costume but he also also came close to getting out of the container I had him in!

When the weathers warm I will take mine out to the stables where I board my horses Or just out in the yard hanging out. I don't take them to many places with people – I guess I'm just kind of afraid they're going to pick up a bug from somebody

Oh me too! I hear about people that lose their precious one's to disease and just can't imagine how horrible it would be to lose my Rex. [emoji21]

I've also been blown away by the amount of personality my dragon gives off! I had no clue that a lizard could be SO much fun to hang out with.

Yea I guess your right I would be devastated to loose my Izzy to some kind of bug I could have avoided... Just love her and think she is soo cool I want to share
I am also blown away at her personality!! She just loves to peek her head out of her fleece that she naps in while out during the evening on my chest just checks out what's going on then scoots back in and naps some more...
I measured her and she is already 12 inches long growing like a weed..

Awesome thanks, I'm glad to accommodate you! The new mobile site is making uploading VERY easy. I just made my first album, Rex Rescued, in just a few minutes sitting here in my car.

He was super tiny when I first got him, and too weak & starved to run away when I picked him up.

Got him home and he seemed to acclimate quickly, complete with sexy leg!

OMG he was tiny!! that's the size of the one at Petco I saw over the weekend!! tiny, looked depressed, head on sand didn't lift it up like the others.. Made me soo sad...
I LOVE the sexy leg!!! Izzy does that too it's soo funny! She makes me laugh all the time especially when I find her sleeping in the funniest positions! lol
