Just moved my little giy into new tank. Is he just stressed or is something seriously wrong?

Hi! So for christmas my family helped me out in being my beardie a new tank! A 48×12×19. I cleaned it up, and got all my decor in there. Like his hammock, vines, basking rock, and a new giant ceramic log, also a hide and a stuffed animal. So the first night he was in there he kinda just sat in the same place all day and his beard was VERY black. The next day he was fine and was roaming around, basking, and chilling in his hammock. The next day was like that too, but last night, when I came in around 10:30 he was laying in his hammock with his eyes closed. I'm sure he was just tired because it was late. This morning after I turned on his lights he didn't get out of his hammock for 2 hours. I eventually got him out and gave him a bath, he is refusing to eat his salad but is eating treats. He ate his crickets fine last night. He is about 6-7 months old. His head also looks VERY dull so I think he is shedding soon. Could he just be like that because of shedding, or is he old enough to brumate? Please let me know. I'm a little worried.

No brumation for a 6-7 month old --- your basking temps and UVB control the behavior and over all health of your dragon ---- please tell me what your using for a UVB brand and bulb coil or tube ? Basking temps what are they and how are you taking them? NO stick on they are inaccurate -- the black beard is a sign of distress or pain --- I am thinking of distress --- please post pics of the tank lighting and him --- any colored lights in the tank?

So I use a arcadia prot5 uvb bulb and and im using a zoomed 100w bulb. And at night a ceramic heat emitter. No colored bulbs. I use a digital probe thermometer and the tank is always in the rang of 91-108 degrees. Its always changing. It is currently 93.6. And I will be taking his cage off the floor as soon as I get a stand

Ok so the lighting is good -- the Pro T since its on top of the screen the basking decor piece needs to be directly under it w/ a distance of 8-10 inches ---- yes please get him off the floor ASAP --- you can look for a dresser or stand on craigslist or FB market place or a used furniture store - dressers make great stands as you can use the drawers for their supplies etc --- the black beard may be from the move -- he will go thru relocation stress again since hes been moved -- 50 gallon tank is ok do you get him out a lot? Optimal tank size for a full size dragon is 75-120 but if your getting him out quite a bit he will be fine in the 50 --

I was planning on getting a 75 gallon but my family ended up buying me a 55. Yes, at night I do tend to get him out and let him roam around my bed and I will also sometimes clear out my kitchen and let him roam around out there. So you think its probably just stress?

I would say so --- keep an eye on his behavior --- if he stops eating all together or keeps up w/ the black bearding then there is something else going on -- but if hes eating basking active he should be fine -- is the floor thing something new?

He hasn't had a black beard since the first night. And he has been basking all day and still running around his cage. Yes, he has never been on the floor before. He used to be on my dresser when i had the smaller cage.

Ok that could of been it --- strange surroundings --- I would get him off the floor as soon as you can - dragons like to be up where they can see what is going on --- and the floor is drafty and cold
