Hey guys whats up. I did some Searching, Emailing and talking to a few places. The ones that are recommended to us from this site. Just terrible. I didnt get a response from any of the 2. Prices were Up there and shipping was even more.

So I just went on a hunt for a good place, with good prices and helps out. I reached out to about 12 different places. I didnt want to wait till the Expo so I just pulled the trigger and went with my gut feeling.

I emailed this place, and they responded within 12hrs of my email. They gave great advice, had all my answers I needed, and they even sent me some free food for them. How could you beat that for Customer Service.

There Shipping Prices are Included already in the Price, They Even Insulate the Box with StyroFoam. And also add a Heating source Free of charge if needed. They even have the package held at the post office for Live Gaurentee delivery.

I was super satisfied and happy with this purchase as I hope you guys try them out and hope you feel the same way. Say Christian Ny Sent you and Im sure they will be happy and help you out in any way I did.

Thought some people would have something to say, eeek

Ha, I had plans yesterday to go through all the new posts and reply but it's been crazy here. We got that 20" of snow you were supposed to get last week! My boyfriend was laughing at me because I was prepping all the critters for a possible power outage.

Sorry you had a bad experience with the recommendations from the forum but glad you found a place that you are happy with. I found with ordering online you kinda have to go with your gut instinct and just order. Places that win me over are ones that are close to me, use sturdy boxes and use heat packs in the winter.

Roaches still creep me out, I don't think I will ever be able to use them as feeders.

lol they creep me out too. I bought some adults to breed but still unsure if I want to keep them. Ordering baby roaches and feeding them before they can breed I think is more my cup of tea. They just look like lightning fast pill bugs not so scary and he loves them. They are expensive though which is the only reason the adults are still alive!

@PatsyB I am glad your guys are ready and so fat so good with not loosing power.

I bought a few from a reptile store just to see what would happen. The people at the store gave me a demo with their dragons, they went crazy for dubia's. I was excited to get home and see what Luci and Dexter thought but they weren't as excited. Once I saw them scurry around the tank so fast I was glad they didn't like them!

I have used a few of the online suppliers but I don't take my chances in the cold. After a few tries I came to terms with teaching someone how to raise them locally. The cost of dubias has come down over the years but they are still very expensive we sale small .15 and med for .20 and i think that is still kinda high.

I love my Dubias. I know it's strange but I almost think of them as pets. I get excited seeing all the little ones that get born.
