Relocation stress is going on for one --- and thats going to throw the eating off -- next we need to go over the UVB your using and the basking temps please --- are you using a coil or a long tube fixture?? Next what are the basking temps in the tank and how are you taking them? Please NO stick ons they are inaccurate-- you want a digital probe thermometer placed on the spot he sits for basking 10 min or so get the temp -- 105-110 --- these things I just asked about are the TWO MOST important things in the tank -- they will control the overall health and behavior of the dragon --- please NO more meal worms they are too harsh on babies stomachs --- please get him some BSFL order the size no bigger than the space between his eyes length wise -- you will need a bowl similar to this so they cant escape its great for salads and small dubia roaches https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
you can get the BSFL from here www.symtonbsf.com please do NOT dust them they are calcium enriched and a great staple feeder for babies and a great compliment to the main staple insect -- add those to the salads in front of him it will get his attention -- hand feed him a few of them then drop them on his salad -- please make sure your dusting the staple insect -- calcium D3 5 x per week ONCE per feeding lightly coated vitamins w/ beta carotene 2 x per week ONCE per feeding lightly coated --
the lighting needs to be fixed first if it needs fixing - he will not eat other wise --- let him adjust to his tank and surroundings in the mean time get the lighting adjusted -- if you need more help please ask I can post websites for insects / worms along w/ links to lighting

Hi. Shedding really throws them off too. My baby won't eat much and gets really grumpy. Misting him is good. Keep offering him food and don't stop your normal routine. You can let him soak in a bath for 5 to 10 minutes too. Don't pull his shed off. He will get back to normal in no time.

Glad to hear he's doing better. I don't know why shedding makes them so cranky but I've had my baby for 8 weeks now and every time he goes into shed his appetite wanes. Put something in the enclosure that has a rough surface so he can rub on. A nice big rock will aid in many grooming issues. Enjoy your dragon sweetheart!

What kind of screen do you have on the tank? this will depend on where your T 5 goes - they have certain distance and placement please --- fine mesh like a screen door ? or a wide hole type of screen? And how thick is it -- a heavy screen?
