Jurassi Diet Silkworms

I got a can of the Jurassi Diet Silkworms (Pupai stage). The ingredients on shows silkworms, no chemicals,etc.

I wanted to try these with my beardie..but wanted your thoughts.

Good - Bad?? Anyone ever used them?

It is best to use live proteins. My herp vet is very much against the canned insects. He claims that they have nothing to offer the dragon and could lead to some digestive and organ issues if used. He equated the canned silkworms to us eating a box of donuts.

I think if used in a needed situation (vacation), that it would be fine. But as a regular part of their diets, I'd stick with live proteins.

Thanks for your input. I'm thinking I'll keep them on hand, unopened as an emergency backup then.
