I've never had a beardie in brumation this long

I've had two bearded dragons who both "went down" in early October, and awaken in April. So, I just thought that all beardies are like that.

Grendel, one year old, crawled under a branch in the fall (I just can't remember exactly when now) and here it is, mid-May, and he's still not up. I was worried about him last week, so I moved his branch and lifted him up. I didn't want to disturb him, but like I said, I was worried.

He ate, he crawled around like he's always done, and then, a few days later, went back under the branch. Is it normal to brumate into May? Is it ok to try coaxing him up again?

Thanks!

I think they brumate for as long as they want. I haven't experienced it yet but there was someone here whose beardie bruited for months and months. Just make sure you still give him baths once a week to keep him hydrated. Hold his head up out of the water if he doesn't wake up. Also, make sure he poops before falling back asleep for so long.
