Bearded Dragon Egg

So, we found a local bearded dragon breeder here in Arkansas, we told him about Alastor and he told us to bring him by his shop. We went there Wednesday(July 3rd) and took Alastor for him to look at. He's been breeding beardies for years, so we trusted his opinion.
Alastor started doing the same thing again with the heavy breathing, mouth gaping, clicking noise, etc and he threw up that Wednesday morning.
So we went there to the shop and the guy looked him over and he was like honestly, I hate to say it, but I think he's probably got a birth defect from being birthed in basically like a puppy mill. He offered to keep him and try to get him back to health, but he's like I honestly don't know if he'll survive, it depends on what his defect is.
Because I had told him what all Alastor had been doing and that we'd taken him to the vet and the vet cleared him and I thought it was something in his tank, so I took out what I thought was causing it, and we thought for awhile that it worked and he was fine, but then it started back up and seemed worse.
And all his temps were correct, I had the right lights and everything. But I think being a Petco beardie, he was just one of the unlucky ones.
But, while he was getting Alastor set up in a quarantine tank, we were looking around and I saw this little guy just by himself, like completely away from the other bearded dragons for sale, I was like what's up with this little guy? And he goes "Oh, he's very spicy and a runner and will not cooperate.". My husband goes "You should let Dani try, she's a reptile whisperer." Lol dude goes "If you can catch him and he doesn't try to bite, I'll GIVE you him."
So I reached in, scooped the little dude up, he wiggled a little then just chilled out. And the dude was like "You're fricking kidding me". We stood there for a good 20 minutes talking while he finished getting Alastor set up and the whole time the "spicy" boy was just hanging out with me. The guy was like "Look, I'll make you a deal. That dragon has given me nothing but attitude but he seems so chill with you, and I'm already kind of falling for Alastor. How about a trade? If I get Al back to full health, I'll just keep him as my shop pet. And you guys can have spicy, free of charge. I'm tired of getting bit." Lmao
So, as much as it pained me leaving Alastor there for good, and as much as it made me feel like a bad beardie mom for giving him up, I have a REALLY good feeling that he's gonna be okay, even if he doesn't make it to an old age, this guy knew what he was doing and would make sure he was taken care of. So, he took Alastor, and said he'd keep us updated and he practically begged us to take the "spicy" boy whose literally been the sweetest baby ever since then.
So, I'd like to introduce the "spicy boi" Sir Pentious. A.K.A Mingi.
