I no long see roaches as scary disgusting bugs, I see them as lizard food. We have Palmetto Bugs here, people around here don't like to admit they are roaches. We also have some other kind that get in the house from time to time that are about an inch long and don't fly. Don't know what they are but they kind of look like the dubias but I know they are not. I think they are the Florida Wood Roach.

Here is how I know I am a lizard person, I think...Man I wish I found that before the cat did so I could keep it, collect a few more and start a colony.

well after reading more on these roaches, the Florida wood roach is the Palmetto bug so what people around here call palmetto bugs are a mystery to me. All I know is they are about 2-3 inches and fly. Does anyone know what type of roachy bug is that big and can fly?
