within the last week or so I have noticed zuri being a little off when trying to eat live feeders. She eventually will get it but she just sticks out her tongue and stays in the same spot as it crawls away...here is a video
Dexter does this all the time, which makes it real hard to feed her super worms because they crawl away from her so fast. She started it with her crickets, she would just wait until they walked the perimeter of the tank and then she would stick her tongue out to eat it, if she missed it she would wait for the next. It reminded me of the rubber duck game at the carnival! The most aggravating part is if she sticks her tongue out a few times and she doesn't get it, she gets discouraged and walks way without eating anything!
Fenchurch will hustle after prey - if she sees me drop it in the tank. If she's looking the other way or focusing too closely on me or the feeding tongs, she won't even see the superworm or the roach scurrying off to hide.
