I won't be able to take him to the vet for two weeks. If it is yellow fungus, what can I do to help for the two weeks I have to wait?

If you suspect YF, please take him to the vet. He'll need voriconizale to 'cure' it. I would've done everything for my Allie if I could. Is there another exotic vet you can take him to immediately and not two weeks later. Meantime, you can soak him in betadine solution and apply Lamisil to the spot. To soak in betadine, make it look like weak tea with warm water.

Is that the only place the yellow is??

Yes just the neck and beard. However I can't remember how long been there. When he was a hatchling it was white. I read it comes from their feces or another infected reptile, but he has never had contact with any other reptiles except his clutch mates about a year and a half ago. I also keep his tank very clean and use slate tile.

I'm looking for vets in the area. I just moved here yesterday, so if I can find one affordable sooner, I'll get him there before two weeks, if not I have to wait for my pay check to take him to the vet I used to goto. It's a ways away though.

I'm wondering if the color has been there but now it's more noticeable because he's stressed from the move.

Honestly to me it doesn't look like yellow fungus is usually a dark dark yellow and after awhile it will turn black my bearded dragon zuri had the same thing but by her back legs and on her stomach I took her to the vet and she said it was just staining and now that zuri had shed since the yellow has become less and less...has ur dragon shed since

UPDATE

I guess I was being far too overprotective, but hey that can be a good thing. Vet tested negative for yellow fungus.

Thank you all for the quick responses and concern.

That's a great thing! Yes, you should be overprotective. I wouldn't want anything to happen.
