Is "she" a he?

Just got my first beardie about a week ago and was told "she" was a female. I stumbled upon the flashlight trick and "she" appears to be a he. I'm new to beardies so I'm not even sure if the flashlight thing is legit... but I do see the two bumps when I lift "her" tail up lol. Is the flashlight trick legit? Do I have a male?
