Is Nubs a boy or girl? Stress lines.

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Nubs is a boy or girl? Nubs is 4 months old here. This was right after a bath too. Nubs always seems to have these markings. Are the markings stress lines like I have heard about? TIA.

If you can place Nubs on a flat surface like a table top and gently pull his tail back to a 90• angle it will help us determine the sex much better. Pull it back just far enough so that the scales are tight but not too far to avoid hurting him/her and snap a picture of the area above the vent. Here's an example

Yes those are stress marks but try not to be too alarmed. Despite their name they do not always mean your dragon is stressed.

4 months may be a bit young to try to determine sex. things just haven't developed enough yet

Yea put in that position and in a dark room shine a light down thru the base of the tail (top down) if you see the ovals on the sides that's boy if just a bump in the middle that's girl.
