Is my beardies tank too simple?

my bearded dragon keeps scratching on the glass and glass surfing, I heard that means their bored. now the tank has scratch marks all over it, lol. I don't know if my tank has too less things for entertainment. pls give me some advise if my tank is not set up properly

What size tank is this? He needs a bigger hide for a adult dragon- the hammock on the side can cause nail and feet injuries - the nails get caught in them and they get snagged causing sprains / and pulling out nails- the water bowl is iffy most do not drink from water bowls- what is the white flooring in the tank? I see only digital temp gauges in the tank how are you getting surface basking temps? And last what are you using for a UVB?

I have a 75 gallon tank, he doesn't really drink from the bowl, the flooring is like a silicone flooring.there is a temperature thing that comes with the heating lamp. I'm using the reptisun for uvb

Reptisun long tube or in a dome? You want surface basking temps taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- the ones on the side of the tank are giving ambient temps only- the flooring is smooth? 75 gallon is good size-

Zoo Med makes the digital probe thermometers found at Pet Smart or Petco- the what brand and bulb are you using for your UVB- it must be in the tank I cant see it on top- the placement and distance is going to be determined by the bulb and the screen on the tank

He could be seeing himself in the glass...their reflections stress them out as they think it is another dragon. You can buy a background on amazon or similar site to cut down on the reflectivity. If you adhere it to the inside of the glass it will be less reflective, but outside the glass will cut down some too. I got this one for my old tank (I have a bioactive one now with a climbing background, but if you want a simpler solution the background may help)

Try a resin tree instead of the hammock...my and my friends beardies LOVE those trees...Petsmart sells them. Here are some pics:
My dragon loves his tree so much that I had to move it to his new tank lol
