Is 110 too hot?

I've been measuring my 2-year-old beardies basking spot with a temp gun; sometimes the temperature gets up to 110. I use a 150-watt basking bulb about 12 inches from his basking spot. Is this temperature too hot? If so can I raise the bulb or do I need to get a lower-wattage one?

Follow your dragons lead -- he wont stay in that spot too long so if thats the case drop the temp down to 95-100 and I would get a digital probe thermometer - IR guns can be off by the material basking decors are made out of
