Hi - I am new to the bearded dragon forum, but not to bearded dragons. I purchased my first beardie back in 2007 - his name was Iggy and he was honestly my best friend. In 2009 Iggy became ill and was given four weeks (at most) to live. However, Iggy became known as the beardie with nines lives because he never gave up, and nor did I. Unfortunately his battle against his health problems was lost on September 13th of this year, and he is now resting peacefully in beardie heaven :/
At first I had planned to wait a while before getting another, but have since had a change in heart and I am in search for a new beardie. Haven't had the best of luck though, I am now on my second little guy and I plan to return him - that way he can get the proper care. I am very open to suggestions - and I am currently thinking that I want to wait until the next expo, because of my recent encounters.
I hope to contribute to forums by sharing my experience and aquired knowledge with others, and to have it hopefully help the owner as well as their beardie.
