Hello from Australia.
Here is my new 6 month old Central Bearded Dragon "Ser Loras"
We have had him for about a week now, he's already hand feeding and will let us pet him for short periods some times (He's still very skittish, advice is welcome).
He's currently feeding on Chok Boy, Rocket, Butternut pumpkin, Carrot and Silverbeet( only every two days as it does bind calcium) before having his full of crickets.

We're giving him his first bath tomorrow so it shall be interesting to see how he goes.
Here is a picture of my handsome beardy

You lucky mother trucker, you can actually lawfully own an eastern bearded dragon. Welcome to the forum. As for breaking the trust issue try placing your hand in the viv but don't touch the dragon. Do this a few times a day and you should get it trusting you mean no harm to it.

Hello! Yes we are blessed with being able to own many beautiful lizards here. Loras is central though we will look at getting an eastern in a years time if we really take a liking to them. We do hand feed him crickets sometimes, so we are teaching him that the hand brings the food so it must be ok, and sometimes we will lay it close to him without food and he seems to not be bothered by it so much as he was when we first got him. The day he first came home he jumped and ran as soon as we opened the door so already theres been a big improvement, he hasnt even been with us for a week yet, I guess I'm just impatient to just be able to stick my hand in the pull him out for cuddles.

Welcome to the forum! I bet you will fall in love with them quickly and be ready for another one! Another tip for gaining their trust is putting something in the tank that smells like you, a t-shirt or a scarf or something that will get them used to your scent.
