I've been reading everyone's posts through Twitter and finally joined. We are new to the BD world, we've had Dexter since the beginning of December and she has gone from 6 grams 6 inches to 120 grams and 13 inches in the short time we've had her! It's so much fun watching her grow and learn. Here's some pictures:

Thanks Pat! We just found out she was a girl! She's our first BD and so far it's been great.

Thank you! She likes to hang out on it but I don't know for how much longer we will be able to. My youngest cat Sasha who loves to sit next to Dexter's tank and watch her, took a swing at her tail the other night! I was feeding Dexter in a separate tank and when I took her out Sasha was there so I went tried to let her sniff Dexter like she always does and instead she took a swing at her tail! Sasha has been showing lots of signs of jealousy lately :(

Poor Dexter!! Furbabies are jealous little things.. My dog sits in his bed and sulks until I give him attention if he sees me messing around with Draco. Then I have a 15 month old who is jealous of the dog so if I'm playing with Dutch (my dog) then my son comes over and demands attention =P

My black lab barks when I don't give him any attention too! The two loves to smell Allie and then they turn away thinking she's really a baby. I've got to remind them, "Baby. Don't touch. Smell the baby." They understand what a baby is. I just don't trust my black lab around her.

Sasha is very jealous. When our niece was a baby she would sit and STARE at me when I held her. The funny thing is she's not a very lovey dovey cat. She hates being picked up and will only let you pet her on her terms. The good thing is that Dexter is very laid back and doesn't really get bothered by her.

Yes very nice. I love the harness.

It's good to see other bd's under a year that are big. I felt bad yesterday, I went to Reptile Fest in Chicago and I was talking to this lady about Dexter and when I said she was 13" and 125 grams she said "WOW, she's a big girl". It started to give me a complex LOL! She's my first one so I don't have anything to compare too but from what I read she seems to be growing at a good pace. Considering there was a week that she refused to eat crickets and she actually lost weight. BTW, yesterday she weighed in at 132 grams and 13 3/4" inches :D
