I've read this one before, I love this story. I was just talking to someone earlier tonight about how amazing it is how Dexter knows that after she eats she has to bask so no matter where she is sitting when she eats, when she is done she goes to her basking spot.

They are definitely smart little guys and girls. I wish fatty knew to go bask lol, she usually belly flops after a meal and looks at me like "well? Are you going to put me up there or what?" But I will say she knows exactly where we keep the feeders. All I have to do is walk up to that door and she will come running.

Dexter def knows the feeders! Lately she has been practically jumping out of the tank when I open it because she knows she's getting food.
