So I'm a first time beardie owner and I've only had him two days, and his toe looks like it's almost hanging off? What should I do????

Sorry this happened. He's going to need a vet. He'll need antibiotics and they will probably have to remove the toe. If he's housed with another beardie you are going to have to seperate them so this doesn't happen again :(

Ah man, I called pet smart they said it probably happened when he was caged with the other ones at the store, he's by himself now, they told me to put peroxide on it and it should heal it self, the more I looked at it the more I can see that the tip is kind of dead , could that mean it would fall off and heal?

I would carefully consider the recommendations from PetSmart. It appears to me that the amputation may be required and antibiotics would probably be recommended at that point. Please please please see a vet

So the general idea is I should go to a vet then, I would have to save up some money cause I spent a lot on his set up and stuff, would he be okay for a week or so if I put peroxide on the wound?

Where r u from? I know a few vets around the UK who will do things for donation for ppl who xnt afford vet bills as they can b very expensive. Wot do u have as substrate only thinking if u got sand ita gunna get in the wound.

When Dexter hurt almost ripped her nail out I did nightly soaks with betadine. Bowl of warm water with enough drops of betadine to make the water look like week tea. That will help keep it clean but I would still take him to the vet as soon as you can just to make sure there is no infection spreading.
