I figured that I would keep a photo journal of Moo. I know she's growing as she is shedding again! Her whole body at that this go round. LOL. But I can't see the growth.

She is still skittish around us. Has even opened her mouth like she's going to bite, but she doesn't. I'm starting to think we got a cranky beardie. Love her regardless. She's eating well, and pooping well. She'll eventually figure it out I hope.

We are always the last to realize that our babies are getting bigger. She will figure herself out eventually. Luci is still kinda cranky especially with me. I think he's jealous that I'm closer to Dexter.

Remembered to take pics of Moo. She does not like me though she'll eat a superworm from my hand. God forbid the feeding hand tries to pet her or anything!

Doing good here, and here

Not so great here. She even hissed at me. LOL

Of course it doesn't help that I'm taking pics with my iPad! LOL

Should I call up the breeder and complain they sent me a cranky dragon? Haha. Wouldn't trade her.

Poor Aubrey. She's cranky with her too.

My guy has occasionally hissed at me too. But - I don't think he generally means it. Last night he fell asleep on my shoulder

Luci used to hiss at me and then he just gave up. He still backs away from me sometimes when I go to get him out but I don't get the hissing and biting like I used to.

Trillian still doesn't like me much. She hasn't hissed at me or bitten me, but she'll either run from me or puff out her beard and gape at me, always keeping her open mouth turned toward me.

It doesn't get her out of anything.

Yeah. I don't let her get out of anything. I just think it's funny she does all this but will eat from my hand. Little squirt. She still runs away from us, flattens herself, gapes her mouth. She's fine once she's in hand, but wow is it a chore getting there. I won't let Aubrey take her out and to her room only because we'd never find her in the mess if she ran off. And that's the only safe room right now. Next dragon will have to be older. I can't do the stress of a baby dang it. LOL

Older doesn't guarantee calmer. Trillian is my oldest. We've only had her for a couple of weeks, so she's still under a lot of stress.

My youngest one, Arthur, actually bit me without warning last night. Probably because I had just interrupted his attempt to gain carnal knowledge of Fenchurch.

That's her hang out spot. Got that in the fish section. LOL. Today we did the running around the cage before getting caught thing. Sometimes it seems like she is playing a game with me. Now if only she would quit pooping in her bowl.

Each dragon has it's own personality. When we got Dexter as a baby she was very chill and calm and still to this day she is the sweetest dragon ever. Because she was such a breeze, we got Luci. Let me tell you if we had gotten Luci first, we would have never gotten Dexter! He was wild from day one. It took a year for him to calm down. He still has his days where he dances his tank and tries to get out and sometimes he will flinch when I go to grab him but he really is a sweetheart in his own way.

We're kind of the same way. We got Fenchurch first, and she is the most chill dragon ever. Arthur is a little more unpredictable, but he was a baby and has settled down a lot.

Trillian is just an a-hole.

Moo is still hissing and being an all around meanie. I did get her to eat some turnip greens from hand. Haha I just stuck a piece in her mouth when she was hissing at me and she ate it, then offered her another and she ate it with no hissing. I keep reminding her I'm the one feeding her, but it has no bearing. :(
She just finished another full body shed and I'd working on her tail. She's growing, is having healthy poops, and eating well. Although her food keeps taking rides on her all over her tank. I always have to do search and rescue. At least she hasn't pooped in her bowl lately. Think she's getting too big for it finally. But she always poops near the bowl.

No pics cause I always forget to have my iPad anywhere near her.
So I'm still not seeing any baby mealworms or superworms or Dubai. Think it's not hot enough in the Dubai tub. I have two heating pads, one on each side plus I put foam insulation under and on all sides of the box without heating pads. Can't bring heat up. And from what I can tell I only have one male roach! I got females galore and all the roaches are either too small for Moo to notice or too big for her head. Gah. Time to put in another order of dubs and more supers. Yeah hubby will be thrilled.

I read once that sticking food in their mouth when they open it to hiss at you is a good way to get them to like you. They will start to associate you with food and they won't try to bite you.

Or she'll hiss at me all the time to get food! LOL. Rearranged the mealworms, superworms and dubia. Hopefully I'll start getting some babies.

Finally have baby dubs. Still nothing on mealworms or superworms. But we got dubs. Now if only they would grow so that they will be a meal and not a snack. She's shed once since I posted last and is in the middle of a shed again. Girl is growing fast. She is now permitting me to pet her tail, but only two or three tiny strokes. Any more and I get attitude. Still giving her leaves when she opens her mouth. She always gives me a surprised look when it happens. Funny girl. But she is growing and healthy and that's what truly matters.
