Im pretty sure my beardie is dying.

She is about 10 years old, and for the past week, she has been so incredibly sick. She won't eat, drink, she won't even bask. She just sleeps all day. Her beard is black and her face is white. Her eyes are sunken in, and she won't open them. About 2 hours ago, she has been having spasms, she rolls around gasping for air and her pulse is super weak. I've been comforting her, keeping her warm. She keeps fighting. But she barely moves. I don't know how to help her, I can't take her to the vet because I dont have money to. She lost so much weight so quickly. It breaks my heart watching her suffer like this. I jjst don't know what to do.

I am afraid your right- I am so sorry to see this- she has lived quite a long life tho - there is something going on internally I am thinking - I can send a message to Tracie the vet tech on the forum but I dont know what else you can do at this point -

I am so sorry, that is truly the worse situation you can be in. At 10, she has had a long life. She is
obviously in distress & most likely wont make it much longer. How long has this been going on, you
mentioned it was sudden? Did she possibly get into any type of toxin?
All you can do is hold her & comfort her. Though she is not doing well, just having you with her will
bring her more comfort than you know. It is very emotionally hard to hold them when they pass, but
it does bring peace to them knowing they are not alone.
I cannot think of anything else you can do, if she is truly on her final phases here. When their breathing
begins to change, it isn't a whole lot longer for them.
Please let us know how the situation is for her.

I am so sorry she passed away, it is devastating I know. She had you with her
when she needed comfort & I'm positive she felt you there with her.
