hi there
i have recently bought a Vivexotic Viva Plus Terrestrial large deep Vivarium - Width 1150, Depth 610, Height 500 (mm) which i will be using to house my first bearded dragon. I have gone to the only local reptile store i can access to try find out a bit of info on temperature and the general looking after and the best equipment to buy e.g. lighting, thermometers and heating but found they were no help and extremely expensive.
I'm looking to spend about £300 - £500 on the interior and lighting etc for my Vivexotic Viva Plus Terrestrial large deep Vivarium - Width 1150, Depth 610, Height 500 (mm) can someone please help and advice on what will be the BEST!! equipment to purchase.
i ideally would like it to be desert themed but have seen that you should not use sand so any sand substutes or look a likes that will not harm etc would be great
any info on lighting for them would be great as i have seen heat light ,day light and night light e.g. can you get duel purpose, what watt age is best etc.
perfect scenario would be if some created me a shopping list
