You can flip him onto his back and see if he moves then, sometimes they will because it makes it harder to breathe

I would not suggest setting him on his back. If he is week he may not be able to flip himself over and it could cause serious problems. I would suggest to hold him and watch him. They can breath very shallowly and slowly. so you will keep a close eye on him to see if he breaths at all. Also, holding him will enable you to feel any minor movements that you may not be able to visually notice.

Are the lights on in the viv. What are the temps? Did you notice that something was wrong before this occurred?

Chipping? Did you have him on wood chips for substrate or something?

I do not know if anyone ever went over this with you but loose substrate is not a good or healthy idea with babies. Personally my suggestion is Newspaper as it is cheap and easy and carries zero risk of impaction.

good luck with everything.

So sorry to hear about your loss. There's quite a bit to learn when caring for beardies. But once you get it down, dragons are simple to care for.

Unfortunately, I think you were a victim of poor pet store advice. Substrate (flooring) is critical to the survival of a dragon.

If you decide to get another, take a look at our caresheet. Good luck and again, so sorry to hear about kimbo.
