Hello everyone ! First of all, sorry for my english, I'm french. I'm writing today to see if any of you possibly know what my bearded dragon might have.
My beardie is a little over 2 years old now and around the age of 1 a kind of little horn grew above his right eye. at first I thought it was a shedding problem because it was very small.
Around this time he started to refuse the box where I was feeding him, until then he had a very good appetite. So I thought his box was too small for him considering his size and I changed it to a bigger one but without success.
He was also lethargic (it was during the winter) so I thought he was going into brumation. So I tried to help him in his process but seeing his weight loss made me feel too bad, from there I was forced to hand feed him, I also increased the temperature of his terra and changed the lights thinking it could come from there.
After several months of hand feeding I decided to feed him normally which was a success this time, I started to give him worms and dubia roaches instead of crickets. He has regained activity (which he still has today) and since then he eats normally. (some days he is a little less hungry but nothing too serious) He can easily eat 15 worms at a time.
Here is to give you a summary. This little horn has increase in volume and now gives way to a slight lump above his eye, despite the fact that he lives his life rather normally, that worries me a lot. I haven't found much of this on the internet.
I'm posting pictures below hoping that one of you has already seen this somewhere. Thank you in advance for your answers !

I would take him to a vet because that can be a growth, anything from a cyst to a tumour. If he’s lived so long with it I’m guessing it’s not cancerous but it looks like it may start to affect his eye if it get any bigger. Hop I was able to help

It could also be a lesion considering it looks like it has hard swelling and definitely has a mass of sorts under it. He will need to visit a vet and if it is any of these things he’ll get a tropical treatment and if it doesn’t go down he will need surgery to remove it

So this would definitely be something for a vet. As mentioned.

the truly odd thing is that it does look like a horn. Even the scales seem shaped around it. I almost wonder if it is a mutation.
I have seen the results of some of the things mentioned above, but nothing like this.

You do make a good point, it just so peculiar and I truly don’t know what it could be, but would a horn cause swelling under the skin though? Or is that more horn growing? I would really love to know what it could be.
