www.arav.org to find a reptile vet near you type in a bigger city zip code if your in a small town/ area - they need to take X rays and blood work for sign of infection -
What are you using for a UVB? coil or long tube fixture and what are the surface basking temps? those should be taken w a digital probe thermometer
Brand and bulb of UVB and where do you have it placed? In the tank or top of screen - how old is the bulb? here is a different website for vetsIts a long tube UVB, basking temp is 38.5. She is 2.5 years old and was recently gravid.
It is reptisun T50 over top of the screen and I think 2 years old. She is looking fine rigth now eating her greens. After drinking some water she got well. I really do not understand. What is the screen on the tank like? Is it a fine mesh like a screen door or a wide holed type- fine mesh screens block approx 30% of the UVB rays - it will need to go inside the tank if its a fine mesh - hang w/ some heat resistant cable ties found at Home Depot - directly above the basking decor 12-15 inches - if its a wide hole type place directly above the basking decor 8-10 inches - if the UVB bulb is around 10-11 months old replace it - she looks ok - if you hear any wheezing -- crackling - popping or see any discharge out of her nose or mouth she would need to go in -- please get you temps right and the UVB placed correctly on the tank and watch her behavior - please keep her hydrated by offering water on the nose once a week and rinse her greens before serving - this will give her hydrationIt is reptisun T50 over top of the screen and I think 2 years old.
