So a good while ago I was adjusting her lights. She ran up underneath me as I dropped her light. It wasn't a great drop and the light didn't weigh too much so I didn't think it hurt her. She didn't seem to show signs of being hurt or injured but now she's super duper scared of me and she just hisses at me and sometimes nips. Anybody know how to make her feel safe again? She's been like this for a few weeks now. She's almost 4 months old.

Combo of stress and trauma- your gonna haft to work w/ her- approach from side not above she will think your a predator- they have a 3rd eye on top of their heads- feed worms like medium super small horn BSFL large out if your hand- this will start the trust thing all over again-- put a piece of clothing or fleece blanket in the hide something w your scent on it- work w/ her in the tank slowly petting her and try handling her in the tank--- it may take awhile but patience is key- hand feed her some of her salad as well-- she will need to learn to trust

Thank you so much. I've worked with real mean dogs before so I tried a bit of that scent thing with her. Right now I have her wrapped up in my blanket and from time to time I feed her dried crickets. I'll keep doing that until she wakes up then I'll feed it out of my hand. Thanks so much for the help!!
