Human thermometer good to measure temps?

I was wondering if a human thermometer will be okay to measure my temps? Im guessing not but just making sure.. It is digital atleast

no but the therm you need is fairly cheap. you can get a dual probe digital thermometer at walmart for around 12 bux or if you want to spring for a little more versatility you can go to tempgun.com they have one of their handheld therm guns for 25

What do you mean by human thermometer? What type? Is it the kind that measures our body temps?

The digital probe thermometer is pretty reliable.

I was talking about the thermometer you stick under your tongue. I will probably end up getting one from tempgun I like what I have heard about them alot

I love mine. its the simplest thing to use ever. and if you have multiple tanks setup it makes life so much easier. just point and shoot. and its extremely accurate.
