should these guys poop? Now that he is going on his own he seems to have a pretty decent one every 2-3 days or so. Is that OK? Should he be more frequent?
Each dragon is on his/her own schedules. That said, every 2-5 days according to feeding, temps, is fine. Yardley only goes once a week, if he's in the mood, but he's been hovering in and out of brumation for the last several weeks.

Agreed. Once Bernie reached 1 year old, he only went once a week and usually in his bath. As long as they don't go for an extended period of time without pooping, you should be fine.
