How much of enclosure does UVB tube have to cover?

I’m planning on building a 6x2x3 enclosure for my future bearded dragon. I’m probably going to use a T8 12% Arcadia UVB desert fluorescent tube(I think that’s what they’re called...?), but I’m not sure how much of the enclosure it should cover. Should I get a 2ft, 3ft or 4ft one? 4ft is the largest they have. Thanks.

About 75% if the enclosure is recommended, off 2-3 hides so he can escape the light uf he so chooses

Do not get the T 8 you want a T 5 -- for a tank that big a T 8 is not strong enough you want a Arcadia Desert 12% bulb -- distance and placement is key for the bulbs a T 8 would require a 6-8 inch distance directly over the basking decor a T 5 12-15 inches
