What age and size is Bob? general consenus seems to be for baby/ young BD to feed as much as they can eat in 15 min(or till they lose interest) 2 to 3 times a day. and to leave veggies available all day. Adults I believe is live food 3-4 times a week and veggies everyday (mine is only about 5 months old so not 100% about adults). Typically younger BD's don't eat alot of veggies and need more protein from the live food since they are growing very fast and will begin to eat more veggies and less meat as they get older
