How much does your adult bearded dragon eat?

My beardie is (and always has been) very difficult when it comes to feeding time. He has never wanted to eat a salad, so he is hand-fed his veggies every day. Even that usually proves to be quite the endeavor.

My question is: if you had to estimate (or maybe you know the exact amount) how much food you beardie eats every day (ex. ## grams of greens, ## grams of other veggies, etc.), what would you say? I have searched the internet and cannot find guidelines or suggestions anywhere.

My concern is that, while he appears to be very happy and healthy, is he eating enough (I know they are supposed to be allowed to eat until they are satisfied, and they won't let themselves starve, but I still worry given his eating situation)?

What are you feeding besides offering salads? How often are you feeding insects / worms? A good size salad should be offered and variety - you need to find what exactly he likes as far as greens - here is a website for nutrition ignore the kale info its outdate http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
Is the dragon losing weight?

They say about the size of your beardies belly...which makes sense since thats where the veggies are going lol.

Meaning the amount you offer...he may eat less than that and thats ok. Mine only eats a leaf here and there. Best greens are collards, turnip greens and mustard greens (walmart sells them in a bag marked "greens trio"...read the ingredients to make sure its those 3), escarole, endive, kale and arugula. Do NOT feed spinach or the arugula/spinach mix. Spring greens are good too but you have to pick the spinach out before you feed it. I dont give fruit..its too sweet and can cause mouth rot..some people give a monthly blueberry but I dont. The key is to mix it up..they can get tired of eating the same thing day after day, just like we can. You can put a sticky worm like a silkworm or some tiny bsfl right in his greens dish..that way when he goes for the worm or bug, he gets a leaf too lol.
