This is Harold, my son's beardie. He is about 6 months old. How many crickets should he be eating a day? He eats his crickets and then acts like he is starving and wants more. He doesn't look thin, actually looks a little bit fat to me.:) lol We usually feed him veggies in the morning and then crickets in the afternoon, as we found out he usually would not eat crickets early in the day. I did search previous posts and found info on what they should eat but not much on how much they should eat.

At that age they should be getting bugs 3 times a day as they are really actively growing.. At this point I wouldn't really worry about getting a bit of a belly as they all do just make sure he's getting good exercise and a well balanced diet of greens and bugs, knowing that as babies and young juvie's they don't eat as much greens yet..
It is kind of dragon specific on how many as it will vary on what type of bug you feed.. for example you feed crickets so if you fed dubia roaches they would eat less of them as they are meatier than crickets. If your fella isn't eating much greens/veggies by feeding your feeder bugs the greens some of the nutrients will get eaten when the bugs are eaten. Dubia's keep the nutrients in them much longer too.
Feed as many as they will consume in a 15 min setting.

I would also give a bit more variety of bugs. Dubia are a great source of protein and much cleaner than crickets. Hornworms, silk worms, supers, black soldier fly larva are all good feeders.
