I am going to purchase 1000 Micro-Superworms (1/2-3/4) worms for my Juvenile Bearded Dragon, and I am wondering around how many should I feed each feeding, and about how long will they last me?

1000 usually lasts me months (4-5) but I buy the large ones. I cut them off at 8-10. My boy usually will close his eyes and stop eating at around 8. My little girl would eat 50 if I let her but I usually cut her off at 10. I don't feed them every day. My boy is on a diet and and he's an adult so he's only getting bugs a few times a week and my girl is a rescue and I don't want the shells to shock her system so she gets them a few times a week.

I also have a chameleon that eats supers but I usually put around 10 in a cup and he nibbles on them for a few days.

Just make sure you feed the supers and keep their substrate clean and give them stuff to hide on so they don't start eating each other!

I didn't know they ate each other either until I kept them in large quantities and started finding half eaten bodies! I guess like anything, if there isn't a food or water source they are going to turn on each other. The same with crickets, that's why you need lots of egg crates for them to hide. One of my patients said her son had a science project that involved keeping 2 crickets together. They woke up the next morning and there was only one cricket left :)
