Rehomed today a 3 month old. How long do they usually bask in the basking spot (95-100) vs, the middle (85-90), vs the cool side (80).
So far he has spent 3 of the 4 hours under basking. Just curious what is 'typical'

temps should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- and good portion of the day

Hottest spot is 106...he doesnt quite stay right in that spot. When feeding time comes, do I have to show the food, or will he come down to get it?

When my beardy was that age she spent all day under the basking zone.

Is this your beardy? Can we see pictures? And I raised a lazy beardy by hand feeding her, its up to you, they will learn, so its ur decision on how interactive you want to be with the dragon.

Ok he's not liking that spot get the temp of where he's sitting- if you offer a piece of decor that offers different temp gradients that would be good

Tank not finished. Thinking of trying hybrid-active. Live plants in stone pots.

Very nice enclosure, put something with your scent on it in there and put him on it when he goes to bed, it’ll help him acclimate to you.
