Hi Everyone. My daughter has a 1 1/2 year old male beardie. I was giving him his vitamins from a dropper last night and he bit the end off the dropper! This entire time I tiny that thing was PLASTIC. Needless to say we’re a bit worried. we gave him some olive oil and apple sauce last night. Trust he’s had mineral oil and apple sauce. Will be adding some banana later. He’s had one poop but the piece of glass isn’t in there. If anybody has any other suggestions they are much appreciated! He seems ok but we’re just going he can pass the tip off the dropper without injury. PLEASE be careful with your droppers! Make sure they are plastic!!!!

I would take him to the vet, regardless of how small that piece is, it could still be able to cause cuts or ulcers in his belly or intestines. I wouldn’t go into an emergency surgery because a lot of the time that can do more harm than good. But I definitely would inform your vet and maybe they can get an ultrasound or X-ray to see if it has passed yet or left any cuts or anything

Emilia, thank you. We got so much conflicting information online about to vet or not to vet. I called our vet after I saw your post. Taking him in now actually. Thank you!
