Why the darkened beard? I thought the head bobbing was like a "greeting" gesture. Having "issues" with Banyon but cant wait ro see if he bobs for me :)

Black Bearding often accompanies Head Bobbing because it can be part of the mating &/or domination ritual. In the last vid, Demon & Dinah's enclosures were on opposite sides of the room, so they were in view of each other, male & female. Bobbing is a sign of attempted intimidation, domination.

The top vid is 2 males (Brothers) that can sense & sometimes see the other's presence in the adjoining enclosure.

Well...Maybe I dont want to see Banyon bob for me lol. He's my only dragon and I have no plans to have more than one at a time. I want him to have all the attention and care he needs so only one at a time for me :)
