Ok so I literally just witnessed my beardie drop like 4 full poopies at once. They are brown/green with some yellow fluid and the one poopie was like all white. Now I don’t know how normal that is but also a day or so ago she wouldn’t come out of her hiding spot for at least 6 hours possibly more.
After she pooped she is active and roaming around. I’ve just never seen that many poopies at once. Actually I just counted like 6 poopies. Pics attached. Sorry for graphic pics.

They all look normal to me, she probably had a blockage, are u bowl feeding? The white is her “urate” and the yellow is possibly from too much calcium, what vitamins is she getting and how often?

I honestly haven’t dusted my roaches at all recently. I do have the pro coco substrate. Could that be the cause of her constipation? Sorry for the delayed response.

I would look at the fixtures and see how dusty they are but to air on caution side and get rid of the coco substrate-- not dusting isn't going to cause constipation -- dragons will go long periods of not pooping when did she poop last? What is the diet and is she hydrated? Was the last poop dark formed and moist urate white formed and moist ? I would be concerned about ingesting the substrate-

Thank you Sadie! She is fed the Dubia roaches, with mustard greens mixed with collar greens. She gets bathed like once a week. What should I use other than the coco?

You can use textured NON adhesive shelf liner--cut to the size of the tank insects cannot get underneath and clean w/ vinegar and water 50 50 solution you can get it at Walmart or your local home improvement store- or slated ceramic tile if you are interested I can give you more info if you like

Yes, I’d love more information. Could I do like half shelf liner half ceramic tile? Her nails are super sharp and I feel like the time would dull them a bit. Maybe not but I’d try it for sure.

Yes you can do both -- just get the measurements of the tank and see if you can find some textured slated ceramic tile and adjust accordingly -- you can place some thick shop paper towels under the tile part to catch the watery urate -- they come from Walmart - measure the tank from inside -- you dont want smooth but something w a little coarseness but not so coarse its going to cause abrasions on the feet and legs and stomach -- this is a piece I got from Home Depot

I’m heading to Lowe’s now. I’ll see what I can find. Also my boyfriend is going to start building an enclosure. I keep seeing melamine wood to use and not pine. What do you suggest? Thank you so
Much for your guidance

My little guy had a fecal impaction from new feeders about a month ago - he had very little hard dark stools for a few days and then nothing, then soft stool/diarrhea so I took him to the vet with a sample of it to make sure it wasn’t parasites - it wasn’t and an X-ray confirmed fecal impaction. I’m a GI nurse and what happens when the fecal impaction obstructs the bowel is you can have alternating constipation and then diarrhea from the liquid that gets around the obstruction. A few days of lactulose and he was fine - looks like your little one was constipated and cleared it himself which is good. It’s just a lot of poop from being backed up - my guy’s poops were tremendous after he finally cleared the impaction. I LOVE lactulose, works like a charm.
