how can you get your beardie use to you holding them when they will not let you touch them at all?? Please help ive tried sitting by her tank and rubbing her a bit still not co operating

ive had her about a month not sure on age guessing no more than months she's about 7inches long she actually bit my husband tonight

hmm they are usually very docile.. Izzy has bit me once and that was in the beginning and I was checking out her back foot and I think it spooked her and she spun around and got me lol..
just keep going slow and just have your hand in there, put a old shirt in there for her to get used to your smells....make sure your not coming from above them but from the side..

It just takes patience. There was so many times with Luci I just gave up and said let him be feral. But I stuck with it and I think it took about 9 months or so before he was calm for me and sat on my chest and went to sleep. It was exhausting but i'm glad I did it because even though he is still a little wild, he is really a sweetheart.
