Hi I've got a baby Beardie and was just wondering if they should have or need a hide? At the moment at night my baby pulls up his kitchen towel and hides underneath it bless him and then once we've turned his lights on in the morning he stays under there for a while n then decides to venture out onto his log, so should he have a hide? What have others got? (if anything)?
Thanks!!

A hide for baby beardies is not a necessary thing but if you want to add one then it will not cause him harm. Basically all they need is are proper temps, proper diet, a basking perch with basking spot at 110 degrees, cool side between 80-85 degrees in the daytime, temps no lower than the mid 60's at night and a food dish. Remember that if you do add a hide it will also provide a hide for the feeder insects and if they go in there may make it harder for your baby to find them.
