Hello everyone!
It's been so long since I've been here that I thought maybe I should introduce myself again.
It's me! Vondi or aka Honchess. A lot has happened in my life since I was here last.
First off, my dragon, the General, is hale and hearty, spoiled rotten my son tells me.
She decided to bromate a couple days after Christmas and slept through the end of March. Every time she does that it worries me to death, but of course she finally woke up and eyeballed me, complaining because I hadn't anticipated her wake-up and had her worms ready! She had to settle for kale and some berries. Poor thing.
Second, I've moved from Ohio to New Mexico. Long trip, but the General survived it well. She traveled in a little pet carrier with her own towels and pillowcase. Actually I think she slept the whole way. And when we arrived she went back in her familiar tank with her own rocks, hidey hole and basking log. I'm not sure she knew she had moved. The only thing different here is that I cover her tank at night and keep a ceramic heat coil on all night. Our nights here are still cold even this time of year. By the end of this month it should be warm enough at night that she can just go to sleep without her basking light and not need the coil.
Third, my son in law has promised to make her a little yard where she can roam around and sit in the sun and soak in her pool. She will enjoy that.
There's lots of other news but not much of it concerns my dragon so I won't bore you with it. I need to go post now in the feeding thread, so look for me there!
