Hi New beardie owner rescue

First time posting, just got a beautiful bearded dragon yesterday . The previous owner couldn't spend time with him and he didn't get much handling. They were looking for anyone to take him. I have been wanting one for some time and I just kind of fell in love with him. He seems very calm for not really knowing me, except when I pick him up. But as soon his feet land he's okay. What do others think is the best thing about owning beardies?

Do a lot of research and you'll get great advise on here it's a great forum ... I've had my 1 1/2yr old for 6 months now and made him a new tank as other was too small for him, we got him new lights as the ones he came with wer not the best, and now he's got all he needs and doing great at a cost but he's worth it...

Congratulations! They are such great critters!! I have a male and a female and they are soo different it is soo interesting.
