Hi all- I am "adopting" a baby beardy tomorrow (my first one). I already have 2 pugs, 1 fat cat, and a yellow foot tortoise, whom I adore. From what I can tell, this baby hasn't gotten proper nutrition so far and has in fact been diagnosed with gout (according to the owner). I am a licensed vet tech and believe I can fix his nutritional and husbandry issues, but I'm not crazy about paying for him, since I'm getting an already sick baby. At least he comes with a tank. I'm looking forward to this little endeavor, and so happy to grow my reptile family.

Thanks! I would say, unfortunately, he has gout, MBD / scoliosis, rear leg paralysis, and probably vitamin A deficiency. Ugh, I have my work cut out for me.

Welcome. You sure do have your work cut out for you! Sounds like he is in the right hands though.
