So I was roaming around Craigslist for a custom bearded dragon tank for zuri and I found this dragon....I have never seen a bearded dragon so dark...is this like ok?? I have always thought bearded dragons to be colorful and bright this just seems a little off to me

Maybe he is stressed? They typically darken if they are absorbing sunlight but it could be it may not feel well or stressed. I sure hope its just maybe soaking up some rays :/

Idk I've never seen a dragon so dark I emailed the guy and he was saying he gets darker outside and is lighter inside but my goodness

I have seen pictures of bearded dragons that are that dark but they are pretty rare.

My girl gets that dark when she sleeps. And when she's outside soaks up the sun she's a brilliant yellow orange color. It may be unusual – but it's normal for her.

Yeah she's trying to sell him and after asking a few more questions about what she feeds him and what not I am almost positive he is so dark because she doesn't know how to properly care for him she doesn't have the proper lighting and she feeds him lettuce

I am seriously considering rescuing him in other pictures you can tell he suppose to be a red orange color and I am convinced he is most likely extremely stressed since he is not getting near the care a dragon should get

He could be an illegal import. We have Central bearded dragons, Eastern bearded dragons are usually darker and black is a normal morph for them. Either way I would get it, if it stays black with you I would be very interested in getting it from you
