Hey y'all

I am a first time bearded dragon owner. I've have always wanted one but needed to wait until it was the right time. I of course did research before I got one, but I still research daily and am always open to pointers. I want to put in a lot of time and effort to have an amazing bond with my beardie. I have a female "khaleesi" who I believe to be 7 months. I've had her about 2 weeks and we have already come pretty far. She used to puff up at me.....Lol now she willingly lets me hold her. I have her in a 40 gallon tank but am in the process of building a 4ft long × 2ft wide × 2ft high enclosure

Im sure you'll find the research on these guys is endless. Im still learning new things every day. Unfortunately theres a lot of inconsistent information floating around out there so it can be a little frustrating. Theres some really knowledgable people here that love to answer questions though. Thank you!! She definitely is a queen in our house. It has been tough trying to figure out what is fact or myth. It seems that a lot of people have different opinions. I mean I respect everyone who offers help but some things are contradicting or just personal preference.

What I learned is you get opinions and then base your decision on the majority of similar answers. If 9 people are telling me something is bad and one person is telling me that it's okay, I tend to side with the 9 people.

Welcome to the forum and to beardies!! Love your baby! Under several of our comments you will find links that we have put together a ton of information that will be good for reference.. The info is everything that we have learned by trial and error and we have provided links, pictures and as we learn stuff we add to it..
Happy reading but most of all "listening" to your dragon and watching how she acts will tell you alot.
