Hey! I have 2 baby girls(separated) one(haze) has been doing great but the last 2 days hasn't really had too much interest in food but I keep offering it in hopes she will eat. One(widow) didn't eat or drink the first week I had her but has started eating. I just learned about calcium powder vitamin d3 yesterday. I am a brand new dragon mommy and have never had reptiles before. I've had these girls since December 14th. Haze was about 6 weeks and widow was about 5 or 6 but she was definitely smaller than haze. Widow is starting to gain her weight back. Haze gained but with her not eating I am worried about her losing weight. I do have my correct uvb lamps(I asked questions and did the research) so far neither of them want fruit or veggies offered only crickets. I keep fresh veggies always available. (I'm going to try kale and see if they prefer that) any advice or input would be great but please don't be rude as I'm learning. (I learned after adopting them I should have went with dragons that were a little older considering I'm a new reptile mom but I'm committed to these girls) also, haze isn't a fan of being held(how can I help her adjust) widow absolutely loves hanging out on me.

Don't worry about their lack of interest in greens. Babies require a lot of protein and eat a ton of insects at the age that your girls are. The interest in greens will come with time. Kale is a green that I tend to avoid, it's high in oxalates which can cause issues if they eat too much of it. Best to stick with collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens or turnip greens as main staples. I'd offer insects 3 times a day (my feeders of choice are dubia roaches) and see if they start eating regularly and gaining weight.

Go slow and have patience with Haze. When we get small babies, we forget how monstrously large and intimidating we must appear to them. It'll take some time to build her trust, but she'll come around.

What are your set ups like? Sometimes husbandry can negatively impact their appetites as well, so we should take a look at your enclosures. What type of UVB source to your girls have, and what are your temps? If you can post photos, that's a great help to.

If you could show us a picture of your set up we might be able to help you a little more.

At the bottom of my post there is a link to general bearded dragon information that could help with any question you have. There's also a link to go good food options.
