He only eats live meal worms or dried blueberries and that's it. He liked crickets the first time I gave them to him then that was it. I have calcium powder but it's not seeming to help. Any suggestions??? He also gets really grouchy with me.

How old is the dragon? Meal worms are not a staple feeder --- you need dubia roaches crickets BSFL or silk worms- if your dragon is under a year old NO meal worms - they cause impaction in babies -- blueberries are high in sugar and should not be fed as a staple feeder -- your dragon needs salads every day --ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
Lighting in the tank is imperative -- correct basking temps along w/ correct UVB is crucial -- if your dragon is looking skinny and not eating correctly he will lose weight but you MUST HAVE correct temps and UVB in order for this to happen
Please tell me what your using for a UVB NO coils please -- temps need to be taken w/ a digital probe thermometer how old is the dragon?

Yosh is around 3 or 4.
And the lighting in the tank ? This is the most important thing to get him to eat-- if any of this is off basking temps and incorrect UVB he wont eat much if at all -- if hes losing weight that is not a good thing --

He came with some and I bought a cage with one but the lights ran out already. What lights do you recommend?
He needs a bright white basking bulb that keeps temps 105-110 for a baby and 95-110 for a adult --- those temps need to be taken w/ a digital probe thermometer NO stick ons they are inaccurate
He needs a long tube fixture like this https://www.petmountain.com/product/zoo-med-reptisun-t5-ho-high-output-terrarium-hood 24" for a 40+ gallon tank ASAP this comes w/ a 5.0 bulb hang onto it for a back up distance and placement is different from the bulb you will use
https://www.petmountain.com/product/zoo-med-reptisun-t5-ho-100-uvb-high-output-bulbs 22" ASAP
With out this stuff I just posted he will not live ---- these things are the MOST IMPORTANT things in the tank -
When you get this stuff please post back on here and I will help you get the UVB placed in the tank --- they haft to have certain distance and placement ---- do this NOW your dragon is getting sicker by the day ---- he will not eat or will stop eating all together w/ out proper temps and UVB -- I cannot stress this enough

Hi, We rescue & rehomeFirst of all the UVB light needs replacing every 6mnths. SADIE gave u WRONG INFO; The BEST UVB is the "10.0" T5. The 5,0 give little to NO uvb. The length u order should cover 70 percent of the tank and you need a CLEAR Zoomed Heat lamp for heat; thats it. Without the proper UVB, he wont eat, move, or have little to no energy & will get brittle bones, shakes, tremors and seizures & get MBD & eventually death. Please get this UVB asap. Remove any colored or coiled bulbs. Temps for an adult "1" year or older should be 95-100; never higher than 100. Buy a digital thermometer & a digital hygometer; humidity should be 30-40 never higher than 40. Leave both the UVB & Heat on for 10-12 hours in the winter more like 10 & leave both on in the summer for 12-14 hours; more like 14. Do calcium powder(REPCAL) only 3-4times per week/once per day & lightly sprinkle it on the feeders & on a Noncalcium day do HERPTIVITE vitamin powder sprinkle it once per week/day. Also, a plate of greens/veggies: the best everyday ones are: Mustard greens, collard greens, dandelions, yellow squash & butternut sqaush, green bean, snap peas & endives. Blueberries are good but 3-4 times a week only and u can give papaya and mangoe. But try and work on the greens/veggies, try hand feeding. STOP the mealworms they are horrible for him & impacts him. Do only crickets & dubia roaches for protiens & since he's over a year old u can add Superworms alongside everyday the plate of greens/veggies.
