I fed Khaleesi at about 330 this afternoon and I just went to go turn the lights out and take her out for nighttime cuddling and this is what I found!

This is not normal! It almost looks like vomit of full crickets and supers, I didn't know they could vomit! What is happening? She's definitely not acting right. She won't stand up and is breathing very shallow. Could she have eaten too much? She's eaten more before. I am sitting here hysterical with her on my chest, I don't know what to do! Please tell me I didn't just kill my baby! Help me please[emoji26]

Yes – they can vomit. Too much too fast may have shocked her system. She may be scared. I can't tell you for sure what happened because I just don't know. This is probably one of those time will tell things. We have other members for more knowledgeable than I – hopefully they'll be able to provide more information. Hold her and love her – and don't forget to breathe. Prayers for you

Update: I have her in the tub and she is drinking. She's perked up a little bit. Wanted to also say, her basking temps are normal and she didn't eat any more than usual. Please tell me she'll be okay. I don't know what I would do if I did something to hurt her. Someone please help me

Thank you canicke. When I first took her out, she would not stand up and her breathing was so shallow it was hardly noticeable. Since she's been in the tub she seems a little better. She's drinking and has pushed herself up a little with her front legs. I have been absolutely hysterical since I found her like that but I am starting to calm down since she's acting a little better. I am not letting her out of my sight tonight! Thanks so much for the quick reply.

You might wanna hold off on giving her solid food for a couple of days. I'm not a vet so this is not professional advice – Just kinda common sense stuff. Maybe make up some broth and let her drink that. Don't really know Pagona physiology all that well – but when kids get sick solid food too fast can make em sick again. Hope she's doing better. Please keep us posted

Thanks so much. She is currently wrapped in a nice warm blanket in my arms and that's where she'll be for the rest of the night. No sleep for me! LOL. I can't believe this happened. I would just die if anything happens to her. I will post tomorrow and let you know how she is. Thanks again Canicke!

Just wanted to let you know that a very experienced member from another forum agreed that she probably ate too fast and made herself sick. He suggested that I offer food as usual tomorrow but she may not want it. It's entirely up to her and how she feels. No special food should be required unless she continues to be ill.

How is she doing? My advice, take her to the vet just in case. My baby was just diagnosed with a Respiratory infection. You just never know :-(

Sorry everyone, I have been running around all day. She's doing much better today! This morning, I wasn't sure if there was any difference in her behavior. By this afternoon, when I opened her tank, she came right over to me. Whereas, last night she wouldn't even stand up. She ate three supers and a couple pieces of collard greens . I was told to offer food but that she probably wouldn't want to eat, so I guess that's a good sign! She definitely would've eaten more but I didn't want to upset her stomach again [emoji17]

We're definitely still slow going. I know that her stomach is not 100% just yet, so I have been basically giving her one bug at a time, lol. She's gone back to both supers and crickets but only a few per feeding and giving her some time in between each one. She's been acting like she just wants to chow down, but I don't think I should let her just yet.
I don't think she's minding all the attention from mommy lately either [emoji176]

Thank you so much for your support [emoji4]
That's good news. I would definitely not over feed but let her eat if she wants to.
