I just got a beardie on sat! im guessing he/she is 1-2 months old... my tank is 30 gal and my uv light is 100 watt... Its a fancy bearded dragon and its an orange color.. well its a black looking color when i get it out does that mean its to close to the light? do i need to change the watt amount? Im guessing it sits maybe 7 inches from the branch to light!! New to this!

You'll need a thermometer to make sure the temp is correct in the enclosure and under the light. Where is he turning black? under his head/in the throat area? If so, that's normal. Can you post some pics of your enclosure and new beardie?

When you say "black all over" what do you mean exactly?
It's normal for them to get black under their heads on the neck etc...
