The bulb started flickering so I changed the buld as it needed it anyway and the starter unfortunately I through away the original starter it came with so when i went to diy store I just got what I thought would work. It says on it fs-u single 220-240v - 4-65w glow starter with condenser. It still wont turn on just flickers have I got the wrong one I have tried searching the internet but its not helped. I'm not familiar with the GLO lighting system. When my ballast went out I was able to call the manufacturer and it was still within the 1 year warranty and they replaced the whole fixture. From my understanding ballasts are very expensive to replace, it might be cheaper just to buy a new fixture.

Sounds like the wrong ballast... would need to be 110/120 volt

Obviously ballast has to match your bulb type and size

I'm not sure if you are In US though, maybe contact the manufacturer for a replacement... if you re not in the US, then you might have the right type of ballast, but the fixture itself needs to be replaced.
