Help with pregnancy

Hi,

I would be really grateful for some advice.

Over the course of the past week and a half, my BD has laid 16 eggs. Initially, she laid a few on the floor of her vivarium and then the rest in her lay box. I thought she was finally finished when she laid the majority last Thursday but she is still behaving like she is pregnant. She is still digging, scratching on the glass and going to the toilet often. She hasn't eaten anything since she laid the majority of her eggs but is still very active and alert.

Is this normal for them to lay over the course of a few weeks or should I be concerned?

This is the third time she has laid her eggs this year but usually, it is all in one go.

I am giving her baths regularly and she is drinking well.

Kind regards,
Muzz

How have the eggs looked from this batch? Fully formed? Beardies can take a little while sometimes to get them all out, i read a story of a beardie who laid like 30-40 eggs over the course of a couple months, i believe the time line of them has to do with them forming and detaching, is she black bearding at all or just restless? Id keep a vets number on hand, just in case she starts to give signs of discomfort, please give her extra calcium and food if/when she takes it.

Thank you so much for responding. It's always an anxious time.
Her eggs are not fertilised and are fully formed. At the moment she is just restless and digging. She hasn't had a black beard at all.
Wow, that is a lot of eggs! My BD has laid around 50 since January in three separate clutches.

My concern started because she hasn't previously been like this in the other times she has laid.

I have given her a few wax worms today because she hasn't eaten for sometime and wont eat her dubias. I also put reptiboost in her baths

Thats good shes not bearding up, thats what you want to watch for, How old is she? She could just be getting older and getting into her own rhythm? I wouldn’t worry to much, there’s really not much you can do other than keep a lay box , maybe keep her enclosure covered with a towel and check on her hourly, if new symptoms form then id try and make an appointment and see what an expert has to say, they can take an xray and see if theres still eggs or anything else.
